《4:48愛(ài)情異?！返乃夭氖怯?guó)劇作家莎拉肯恩(Sarah暫無(wú)內(nèi)容Kane)最后一本劇作，講的是作家在療養(yǎng)院治療憂郁癥，察覺(jué)自己每天會(huì)在清晨4點(diǎn)48分醒來(lái)，比喻著「天亮之前最深的黑暗」，而肯恩寫(xiě)完劇本后，才剛28歲的她在精神病院上吊自殺。該部劇作成功地表現(xiàn)出一個(gè)生命個(gè)體，也是一名女性、一位創(chuàng)作者，劇烈而近乎暴力的生命強(qiáng)度，這樣的強(qiáng)度動(dòng)搖了活著與死亡之間的界線，而她也正是在這樣一個(gè)極端清明卻又極端迷亂的情況下，走上死亡之路。

Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
