張柏芝,古天樂(lè),范冰冰,黃偉文,許紹雄,張錦程,黃浩然,毛堅(jiān)月娥（張柏芝）是宋朝年間的烈女，武功了得，行俠仗義，追求專一的愛(ài)情和婚姻。一日在演詩(shī)會(huì)上偶遇一表人才的陳季常（古天樂(lè)），二人互生情愫。碰巧皇上為二人賜婚，成全了美好姻緣。但是考驗(yàn)二人感情的時(shí)候才剛剛開(kāi)始——月娥為管住夫君，對(duì)季常管束甚嚴(yán)。但適得其反，季常在風(fēng)流好友蘇軾（許紹雄）的帶領(lǐng)下經(jīng)常去尋花問(wèn)柳。月娥萬(wàn)般無(wú)奈，幸好用計(jì)試探，終得知季常仍深?lèi)?ài)自己。但是，當(dāng)月娥外出歸來(lái)，卻發(fā)現(xiàn)季常舊病復(fù)發(fā)，竟搭上了郡主（范冰冰）。月娥悲憤交加，喝下了忘情水。
