 查理·麥克西的同名繪本改編的手繪動畫，關于善良、友誼、勇氣和希望，通過一段辛酸而真摯的旅程，講述了一個男孩、一只鼴鼠、一只狐貍和一匹馬，四個孤獨的靈魂在尋找家的過程中結伴而行，并在彼此身上找到了自己存在的意義。

　　不知曾幾何時，地球突然爆發(fā)恐怖的喪尸病毒，成千上萬的人被病毒感染，隨后化作嗜血喪尸撕咬同類，正常人類的數(shù)字直線減少。帕特里克（馬修·?？怂?Matthew Fox 飾）和杰克（杰弗里·多諾萬 Jeffrey Donovan 飾）當年乘坐巴士疏散，誰知途中遭遇最慘烈的 事件，這兩個男人以及一個尚在襁褓中的小嬰兒成為唯一的幸存者。九年后，地球上人類所剩無幾，杰克以及當年的嬰兒——可愛的小女孩露（奎恩·麥克科甘 Quinn McColgan 飾）住在一個寒冷的山村，父女倆相親相愛，甜蜜溫馨。與之相對，胡子拉碴的帕特里克與他們比鄰而居，他似乎與杰克有著深深的隔膜。　　某個飄雪的夜晚，露意外在院落外目擊到久未出現(xiàn)的喪尸的行蹤，曾經的噩夢再度浮現(xiàn)……

　　Kyohei Aizawa, an assassin for a covert non-governmental espionage group in Japan called "SEEK", is grieving over the loss of his girlfriend from a tragic plane accident. The leader of "SEEK",Ryo Mikumo, contacts him for an emergency mission; save a fellow agent, recover a new highly explosive liquid called "RDX@", stop a ruthless Yakuza leader, Sojiro Kotsuki, and his gang before they take over Japan. Although the Ninjas were thought to have disappeared... the new breed of assassins live on helping to protect Japan and all that is right; the Ninjas are coming soon.

　　After serving two years on a military outpost in the middle of an ocean – four soldiers are waiting for a new crew to replace them. When the long-awaited boat finally appears, it’s empty with no relief on board. When trying to find out what happened to the boat and the missing crew, they realize they’ve lost all communications with home. Cut off from the rest of the world and no one coming to get them, Baines, Sullivan, Cassidy and Hendryx must fight with suspicions about each other and find a new way to get home.
