富士見(jiàn)市某經(jīng)營(yíng)熱帶魚(yú)的商店，居住著社本一家三口。戶主信介（吹越滿 飾）在妻子去世后不久便娶了美麗的妙子，此舉令女兒美津子大為不滿，因此家中的氣氛總是壓抑凝重，妙子更是小心翼翼，生怕因自己惹出事端。某晚，美津子因在行竊被超市所扣留，社本夫婦匆忙前往，多虧熱情的陌生男子村田幸雄出面方得以脫身。村田也是一家熱帶魚(yú)商店的老板，他誠(chéng)懇地邀請(qǐng)社見(jiàn)一家到他的店中做客，并愿意聘用美津子為職員。社本夫婦雖有些無(wú)所適從，卻不自覺(jué)地被村田牽著鼻子走。不久后，村田邀請(qǐng)信介為合作人，結(jié)果竟在信介的面前殺死了一個(gè)質(zhì)疑自己的男人。一向唯唯諾諾的信介，被迫成為了瘋狂的村田毀尸滅跡的幫兇…… 本片根據(jù)1993年震驚日本的琦玉愛(ài)犬家連續(xù)殺人事件改編。
