本片對(duì);人S戀"的禁忌性主題作出頗為大膽的探討，雖然故事的說(shuō)服力有限，但卻對(duì)觀眾習(xí)以為常的思考作出有力的挑戰(zhàn)。女主角演出十分賣(mài)力，黑猩猩的表演也出奇的好，但基于東西方文化之間差異，大島渚的表現(xiàn)不如他平常執(zhí)導(dǎo)日片時(shí)的水準(zhǔn)。
