草草結(jié)束工作,只想趕回家休息的醫(yī)院胸腔科主治醫(yī)師夏正(王柏杰 飾),在離開醫(yī)院后,卻因?yàn)橐晃卉嚨溨貍募痹\病患而被緊急召回。夏正的病患,同時(shí)也是八卦媒體記者的金有中(薛仕凌 飾),因收到風(fēng)聲聽(tīng)聞?dòng)胁恢《驹诟鞔筢t(yī)院爆發(fā),為了挖掘獨(dú)家,積極的想找出感染源頭,而千方百計(jì)住院;另一方面,男護(hù)理師安泰河(曾敬驊 飾)與實(shí)習(xí)醫(yī)生李心妍(項(xiàng)婕如 飾)為彼此相愛(ài)的熱血醫(yī)護(hù)人員,對(duì)自己的工作十分有熱忱,在醫(yī)院一待就是好幾天。他們,在病毒爆發(fā)時(shí),不但遇上了無(wú)預(yù)警的封院,也面臨了被吞噬的人心。在大家都有可能染疫的情況下,醫(yī)生、記者、醫(yī)護(hù)人員究竟該自保還是救人?并在這個(gè)逐漸分崩離析的醫(yī)院、制度與人心中存活下去?

  Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.  Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
