陸判神仙一向掌握凡間的生與死。某一晚，朱爾旦被王員外要脅到shan神廟搬陸判之神像。朱一向膽小如鼠，唯有硬著頭皮搬走神像，更不慎跌碎陸判像之生死冊(cè)，于是陸判懲處王員外，還叮囑朱把生死冊(cè)修補(bǔ)。陸判為了報(bào)答朱修好生死冊(cè)，使朱變成才子外還天賦異品，連妻子也脫胎換骨。此后，朱爾旦之命運(yùn)就被改變

However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
