蛇蝎美人心 (2000)

　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

　　本片是蘇聯(lián)偉大衛(wèi)國戰(zhàn)爭系列史詩巨片之一部。影片盡情歌頌了蘇聯(lián)人民，在德國法西斯圍困列寧格勒的900個艱難的日日夜夜，所表現(xiàn)出來的頑強精神。影片及表現(xiàn)了蘇軍大本營對列寧格勒的戰(zhàn)略布防，也表現(xiàn)出列寧格勒市民面對生死的堅忍不拔。同時也是為數(shù)不多的蘇聯(lián)戰(zhàn)爭影片，客觀地表現(xiàn)了戰(zhàn)爭初期紅軍失利，以及紅軍將領伏羅希洛夫元帥組織列寧格勒城防的失敗。影片還展現(xiàn)了列寧格勒基洛夫工廠，冒著的德軍轟炸，堅持為前線生產(chǎn)武器，以及軍隊和市民通過城市唯一與外界的通道——拉多加湖通道，運送糧食、武器和其他戰(zhàn)略物資的場面。該片還較為詳實地展示了希特勒攻占列寧格勒的計劃，以及紅軍與市民聯(lián)手防御，共同抗敵的畫面。這部影片，將戰(zhàn)爭的全景展示與戰(zhàn)壕細節(jié)完美地結(jié)合起來，直到今天仍不失為一部反法西戰(zhàn)爭的優(yōu)秀影片，很值得觀賞和借鑒。

 The story follows a nameless murderer, wearing a nightmarish mask, randomly murdering people across the U.S. in an attempt to secure his passage to hell. A patrolman’s pregnant wife, a fellow police officer, witnesses the killer murdering her husband and seeks to bring his to justice

　　故事發(fā)生在未來世界，阿龍（黎明 飾）和阿強（張學友 飾）都是抓捕妖獸的特警隊警員，但是上司（袁和平 飾）非常器重阿龍，而對阿強就戒心重重。阿強氣不過在酒吧買醉，得到了女友（李若彤 飾）的支持寬慰。然而，他心頭總是籠罩著陰影——原來阿強的母親也是妖獸，后來他把這個隱秘告訴了阿龍。阿龍也坦白了自己跟妖獸幻姬（李嘉欣 飾）的一段感情……　　此后，阿龍在一次抓捕元大宗（仲代達矢 飾）的行動中，重逢了現(xiàn)已成為元妻的幻姬，情急之下卻要引出重重誤會。其實，元大宗是要跟人類合作的妖獸，但是另有一股液態(tài)妖獸正在肆虐地侵襲這個城市。在對抗液態(tài)妖獸的過程中，阿龍與幻姬的感情經(jīng)歷了生死的考驗，但是元大宗的兒子鬼眾道（張耀揚 飾）卻設計離間意圖消滅人類，與此同時阿強也發(fā)現(xiàn)了特警隊的叛徒……
