　　故事發(fā)生在第一次世界大戰(zhàn)期間，英國聯(lián)軍和德軍之間的戰(zhàn)況日漸白熱化，每天都有無數(shù)的士兵們含恨死去，年僅十六歲的莎士比亞（杰米·貝爾 Jamie Bell 飾）亦參與了這場戰(zhàn)爭，戰(zhàn)場上傷痕累累的慘狀給他的心靈蒙上了厚厚的陰影?！　∧橙?，莎士比亞和一干戰(zhàn)友們正在進行一項突襲任務(wù)，就在大家凝神鼻息偷偷前進之時，一股不知從何而來的神秘煙霧將他們包圍。之后，一行人來到了德軍的戰(zhàn)壕內(nèi)，然而這里了無生氣，有的只是一具具死相及其恐怖的尸體。這里究竟發(fā)生了什么？莎士比亞所在的連隊繼續(xù)前進，詭異的事情不斷發(fā)生，連隊中亦不斷的有人喪命，莎士比亞隱約覺得，在前方等待著他們的正是地獄的入口。

　　莎拉（艾麗莎·易默思 Alexa Yeames 飾）、托德（羅德·赫爾南德茲 Rod Hernandez 飾）、杰夫（杰森·托比亞斯 Jason Tobias 飾）、艾瑞克（安東尼·科洛 Anthony Kirlew 飾）、凱倫（斯蒂芬妮·皮爾森 Stephanie Pearson）、朱迪（凱莉·科耐爾 Kelly Connaire 飾）等六名大學生利用假期驅(qū)車游玩，途中他們的汽車爆胎。不巧的是他們拋錨的地點信號太差，四周前不著村后不著店，她們只能自己動手修理汽車。身處荒郊野外，年輕人們只能耐心等待旅途的再度開啟。誰知就在這時候，其中兩人被不知來自何方的子彈射中，相繼慘死在烈日之下?？只叛杆購浡鵁o情的子彈則接二連三射向他們?！　〔恢螘r，他們已經(jīng)闖入無情殺手的狩獵場，成為逃生希望渺茫的獵物……

　　Widowed farmer Malcolm Gardner lives a quiet life near a secluded forest. When a mysterious ten-year-old girl emerges from the trees, he uncovers a hidden world lurking just beyond his view.

　　Six people bound together by a traumatic experience decide to round off a year of group therapy in style. They join each other once more, traveling up to the Scottish Lowlands for a reunion weekend in a 1970s holiday let. Soon a number of mysterious and horrifying events start to expose the cracks in their relationships, and one by one they discover that trust runs but skin-deep. A night of closure turns out to be far more final than they could have anticipated.
