琪琪（麥家琪 飾）與朋友大波妹都是臨時演員，她們找到一間便宜的房間出租，可是房東蘭姨（羅蘭 飾）的行為怪異。當(dāng)兩人住下后，大波妹常常發(fā)現(xiàn)在家中發(fā)現(xiàn)很多奇怪的事，可是琪琪是虔誠的教徒，不相信世上有鬼。 害怕非常的大波妹到處尋找神棍周通幫忙，結(jié)果被騙色了。怪事不斷發(fā)生，就連周通都死于非命。后來大波妹與朋友阿澤（杜汶澤 飾）才知道片場司機阿照（尹天照 飾）對茅山術(shù)略懂一二。當(dāng)阿照到了蘭姨的家中，馬上感覺到了蘭姨家中的不妥，勸琪琪她們快點搬離。原來，蘭姨的兒子因感情不順自殺了，尸體一直留在蘭姨的房間。 琪琪依然不相信神鬼之說，直到一個晚上她獨自在房間睡覺的時候，被蘭姨的兒子的鬼魂強迫了，之后琪琪變了個人似的，言行奇怪。大波妹與阿澤只好求助阿照 ;

It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
