劇情提要

　　蓋里（Calvin Reeder 飾）、扎克（Lane Hughes 飾）等人是一伙無惡不作的不法之徒，某天他們接到委托，要闖入某戶人家偷取一盒神秘的錄像帶。空空蕩蕩的大房子里，只有一個(gè)死去的老人坐在電視機(jī)前。他們無所顧忌，播放了那盤錄像帶：第一段視頻中，一群年輕人帶著針頭攝像頭去夜店狂歡把妹，卻遭遇一名奪命妖妹；一對(duì)旅行中的情侶入住Motel，期間他們偶遇一名請(qǐng)求搭車的女子，夜晚更有人潛入他們的房間，厄運(yùn)降臨；兩男兩女驅(qū)車去林區(qū)度假，卻遭遇兇殘的殺手；一對(duì)網(wǎng)絡(luò)情侶通過視頻聊天，女子聲稱經(jīng)常在家中聽到奇怪的聲響。鏡頭前，一幕幕恐怖畫面接連上演。萬圣節(jié)，幾名男子以外遭遇了神秘而殘酷的儀式，他們介入其中，自己的命運(yùn)也發(fā)生改變?！　′浵駧ЫY(jié)束，恐怖故事卻剛剛來開序幕……

好像一切都很糟糕

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
