和世界上大多數(shù)夫妻一樣,瑪爾塔(安娜·金斯卡婭 Anna Jimskaia 飾)和丈夫達里奧(馬克思·帕羅蒂 Max Parodi 飾)過著簡單而平靜的生活,可是,從某些角度看來,平靜等同于乏味,而這乏味讓瑪爾塔的心中時常燃燒著欲望的火焰。隨著火焰越燒越烈,瑪爾塔的痛苦也隨之增加。漸漸的,瑪爾塔的精神世界開始失控,她與每一個看得上眼的男人們共享著魚水之歡,在夢境里,在幻想中,而每當(dāng)此時,達里奧總會身著風(fēng)衣手持槍械打破瑪爾塔的幻想。 隨著時間的推移,瑪爾塔逐漸的迷失在了現(xiàn)實和幻想的交界線上,她終于背叛了自己的丈夫,有了一個年輕的情人。幾經(jīng)思量,瑪爾塔決定和情人私奔,可是在丈夫熟悉的身影前,她又陷入了猶豫之中。

Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
