雨川（鄭家榆飾）是一名善良的女護士，她和名為蔡耀的男子相戀，決心搬到蔡耀家族所在的小鎮(zhèn)，在那里同愛人結婚生子。抵達當天，蔡耀沒有來接雨川，雨川同蔡耀的弟弟蔡悟偶遇了，這個行為舉止有些怪異的年輕人給雨川留下了深刻的影響。蔡悟是蔡耀的弟弟，打小體弱多病但卻多才多藝，在朝夕相處的日子里，雨川漸漸發(fā)現(xiàn)了蔡耀身上那不為人知的的才華和光環(huán)，而蔡悟亦被雨川的天真和溫柔深深吸引。然而，蔡悟明白，雨川是將要成為她嫂子的人，因此將這份炙熱的感情埋藏在心底。蔡耀是一名報社編輯，工作十分繁忙，某次，他出差追一個大新聞，只留下雨川和蔡悟在家，夏日的午后，炎熱的空氣使蔡悟內心的感情爆發(fā)了。
