 小學(xué)生典道（山崎裕太）與佑價(jià)（反田孝幸）等同伴們就煙花升騰而起時是扁是圓展開爭論，無果后，眾人困惑起來，為了將困惑解決，他們決定趁夏季花火大會的機(jī)會去燃放煙花的燈塔上一探究竟。典道和佑價(jià)同時暗戀的同學(xué)，早熟的少女奈砂（奧菜惠）因?yàn)楦改鸽x異懷起心事。一場在典道和佑價(jià)之間進(jìn)行的五十米游泳比賽結(jié)束后，奈砂單約勝利者佑價(jià)陪她去看煙花，不想對方最終決定同大伙一起去燈塔。奈砂最終拉上比賽失敗的典道上路，目的地卻變成了火車站甚至更遠(yuǎn)的東京。

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　太陽黨是一個恐怖組織，其首領(lǐng)救世主（林國斌 飾）善于開發(fā)戰(zhàn)爭機(jī)器人，他和女友瑪利亞（葉倩文 飾）經(jīng)常利用自己開發(fā)的機(jī)器人“先鋒一號”大肆破壞。由于“先鋒一號”威力強(qiáng)大，警方也常常束手無策。小徐原是英雄黨的一分子，后來對自己團(tuán)伙的所作所為深感不滿而在師傅的擔(dān)保下脫離了該組織。一次小徐在酒吧偶遇了專為警方開發(fā)戰(zhàn)爭機(jī)器人的專家阿毛（岑建勛 飾），兩人一見如故，成為了好朋友。豈料太陽黨因此懷疑小徐出賣了自己，因此派出新研制的機(jī)器人——外形和瑪利亞一模一樣的“先鋒二號”追殺小徐；更糟糕的是，警方亦因此懷疑阿毛出賣了政府，因而同時派人前來捉捕他們。一對好兄弟，能否逃出生天？
