Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　一晃十年過去，地球人和蟲族的戰(zhàn)爭如火如荼，愈演愈烈。某日，空軍元帥奧瑪?阿諾克（斯蒂芬?霍根 Stephen Hogan 飾）來地球人的遠方農(nóng)場羅庫山視察，時任上校的強尼?瑞克（加斯帕?范?迪恩 Casper Van Dien 飾）也一同前來。在此期間，阿諾克的心智被蟲王操控，他切斷了隔離區(qū)的電力，使基地完全失去保護。是夜，蟲族對隔離區(qū)發(fā)動總攻，地球軍雖頑強抵抗，終因寡不敵眾而告敗，基地陷落。阿諾克則和一干心腹逃離，飛船迫降在OM-1行星。　　瑞克因失職被軍事法庭判處絞刑，行刑之際被政府秘密部門救下。阿諾克知曉聯(lián)邦艦隊基地所在地的秘密，一旦被蟲族得知將不堪設想。因此政府高層要求瑞克帶上一隊人馬，前去營救受困的阿諾克……
